Angiogram

What is an angiogram?

An angiogram is a procedure performed to examine your blood vessels to see whether there are any narrowings or blockages using X-ray contrast dye and X-ray. Coronary angiogram is routinely performed via the wrist artery or sometimes via the groin artery.

Your cardiologist will explain the procedure in detail, including the indications and the risks.
